Neda waterfalls.

Do you want to do a bath under a waterfall? Hear the sound of the nature and the falling water?
You deffinitely have to visit the Neda waterfalls!

Neda is the only river in Greece with a female name. Neda waterfall is located on the southern side of Olympia, in the borders of Ilia and Messinia of Peloponnese and very close to the ancient Figalia.
You can reach the waterfalls throw a path. It is narrow and you have to wear the appropriate shoes but when you get to the destination you forget about everything! The view and the feeling are just amazing!
The best wayback is throw the river! Don't worry to get your shoes wet at the rivertrekking, it's worth it!

Where did the name come from? Of course from the Greek Mythology!
According to mythology, Rhea gave Zeus to a nymph, Neda, the goddess of water, when he was born to protect him from her husband, Saturn. It was she who took care of the baby - together with Theisoa and Agno nymphs. She bathed and washed him at the source of Lyceo, which later became the legendary river and took her name.

Have you ever been there too? Tell me your adventures!
